We possess a variety of hardware resources for in-house computing:
- Linux cluster: Rocks/CentOS cluster of five 2.6 GHz quad-processor Opteron nodes with 16 GB RAM equipped with Progeniq BioBoost FPGA cards, and six 2.4 GHz Opteron nodes with 6 GB RAM, totalling 32 processors with a peak theoretical performance of 161.6 GFlops
- File server: IBM ServeRAID with 2 Terabytes of mirrored RAID storage
- IBM p670: 4-way AIX symmetric multiprocessor server with 8 GB RAM
In addition, we have access to on-demand academic computing and high performance computing resources at the NUS Supercomputing and Visualization Unit.
